Carnevale Activities for Del Mar Residents
Del Mar home owners can celebrate Carnevale with Il Fornaio in the Del Mar Plaza this year! This special three day event will begin on March 6th at noon with Venetian Mask Decorating Contest where children can create beautiful masks with provided materials and win prizes. Del Mar residents and friends of all ages are welcome at this fun-filled event. Pizza and soft drinks will also be provided.
The flurry of activity continues each day with a Carnevale Happy Hour from 3-6:30 p.m., and food and drink specials will be made available. On Tuesday, March 8th the Ultimo Giorno di Carnivale will be filled with live performers celebrating in costume on the exciting day. The evening will conclude with a delightful dinner by reservation at Il Fornaio and feature the Festa Regionale, featuring food and wine from Trentino.
The Del Mar Plaza is located at 1555 Camino Del Mar, and more information can be had by calling 858.755.8876. Underground parking is available on 15th Street on the south end or 50 yards north near the intersection of Camino del Mar and 15th.
