La Jolla Residents Celebrate Community

La Jolla Residents Celebrate Community imageLa Jolla residents and visitors have many great restaurants and options when considering New Years plans. In fact, there are too many to list!

If you have already made plans to have friends and family to your La Jolla home to celebrate, you may want to consider visiting Ellen Scripps Browning Park. It’s a great way to spend the evening, casually. Many locals and neighbors turn out for this picnic-style New Year’s event.

Food is permitted (no glass) so plan your evening treats, and bring plenty to share as you gather with like-minded La Jolla residents. You’ll want to also bring along a Thermos or two and plenty of blankets, as the night will be chilly, as you wait to watch the fireworks show over the bay.

If you are not familiar with La Jolla, but would like to visit this fun event, take Highway 52 West to La Jolla Parkway (which will become Torrey Pines Road). Turn right on Prospect then right on to Coast Blvd. You’ll find the park at the bottom of the hill and will need to park on the street. Have a wonderful New Years Eve!
