Santa Visits Coronado Home & Business Owners
Coronado home owners and friends will welcome a special visitor this week. Santa Claus is coming to town on Friday, December 3rd between 3 and 5 p.m. by ferry! He will visit with children playing at Snow Mountain, located at 7th and Orange, before joining the Holiday Parade that evening at 6 p.m. At 7 p.m. the seventy five foot Rotary Park Christmas Tree will be lit and a Community Concert in the Park will follow.
The merchants on Orange Avenue will host an Open House to welcome the jolly old elf and onlookers from 5:30-9 p.m. Fireworks will also be seen over Glorietta Bay later in the evening.
For those seeking more active fun, the Hotel del Coronado has begun Skating by Sea, an ice rink that is frozen now through January 2nd. A truly exhilarating experience, ice skating in California is great family and date night fun. Hope to see you there!
