Delight and indulge your senses on Wednesday, October 12th, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. with Coronado’s finest fare near the ocean air. If you live in Coronado, the island will be hosting you and your family and friends for its second annual culinary diversion, A Taste of Coronado!
Nearly two dozen restaurants from the northern to the southern ends of Orange Avenue will be serving diverse and delicious foods and wine. The samples will include “locally-owned bistros, melt-in-your-mouth handmade gelatos, full-bodied wines, All-American barbeque, spicy Thai, traditional Irish Pub grub, regional Mexican fare, and fresh seafood” so everyone will find something to savor. Each mouth-watering item will delight your taste buds with diverse flavors, all within the cozy neighborhood of your Coronado home.
Gourmands and foodies alike will enjoy this excursion around the world, one taste at a time. Take your time to stroll leisurely down Orange Avenue in the open air, or enjoy a comfy ride aboard the complimentary Old Time Trolley as it transports you to your next delectable destination. This event is sponsored by the Coronado Junior Women’s Club to benefit the San Diego Family Justice Center and the Coronado SAFE’s Anti-Bullying Program.
