Summer Solstice – A Time to Celebrate

 Summer Solstice in Del Mar is just around the corner, making it a great time to be a San Diegan!  Scheduled for Thursday evening, June 17^th from 5-8 p.m. at Powerhouse Park in Del Mar, this beachfront summer celebration hosted by the Del Mar Village Association, is sure to sell out.  Enjoy a fun-filled evening and relax with a front row sunset view, as you visit with neighbors and friends. 

This fantastic event serves up gourmet food, wine, and ale from local establishments and allows you to bid on a unique silent auction, as well.  Silent auction prizes feature items ranging from Del Mar parking passes, gift baskets and certificates, to originally designed art and jewelry.  You can even meet the next food Network Star!  Proceeds from the Summer Solstice support Del Mar Village Association revitalization efforts.  Advance tickets are $50 and can be purchased at http://www.delmarmainstreet.com/Summer_Solstice_2010.php .
